The Colburns go to church with us and back during the wheat harvest they invited us to come out and ride in the combines. We felt like such city slickers, asking so many questions about the whole farming process. It was so fascinating! Phil and his boys farm over 4000 acres. Karen, Phil's wife, is one of Jenae's best friends here. They always sit together at church and talk about fish. :o) Imagine that! I love all that we are getting to experience out here in the country.

This whole experience with seeing the harvest really opened my eyes about what Jesus is talking about. The harvest is an intense, short period of time, and can end suddenly. Because of that, how should we approach our time on this earth?
